Senior Security Engineer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our core infrastructure and security function. You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing security architecture across systems, applications, and platforms, ensuring best-in-class protection and compliance as we scale globally.

What you will do

As a Senior Security Engineer, you’ll shape and implement the security roadmap across infrastructure and development teams. You’ll define secure development standards, contribute to enterprise architecture reviews, and work closely with DevOps and platform teams to ensure our cloud-native systems remain robust and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices into engineering processes
• Design and evolve enterprise security architecture in line with regulatory and internal requirements
• Define and implement security controls for Kubernetes-based deployments and containerized environments
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews of systems and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide secure design and deployment
• Develop automation for security monitoring, testing, and alerting
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
• Stay current with evolving security threats, technologies, and regulatory trends

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
• Proven experience designing and enforcing secure development practices and frameworks
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes security, container hardening, and cloud-native controls
• Experience with threat modeling, architecture risk analysis, and compliance audits
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or OWASP
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with engineering, DevOps, and architecture teams
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) are a plus
