Senior Cloud Data Architect

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Data Architect to design, build, and evolve cutting edge data platforms supporting sustainability driven digital solutions. This is a remote role for experienced data professionals with deep expertise in Azure and big data systems.

What you will do

  • Architect and develop cloud native data platforms that power critical analytics and AI solutions

  • Lead discussions with internal teams to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures

  • Build and optimize data pipelines using modern tools like Spark, Databricks, and Delta Lake

  • Contribute to DevOps practices, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD processes using Terraform and Azure DevOps

  • Mentor team members and promote best practices in data engineering and cloud architecture


What we’re looking for

  • 6+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud solution architecture

  • Strong hands on expertise with Azure services such as ADLS, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and Cosmos DB

  • Proficiency in Python or Scala (Java or Go is a plus)

  • Solid understanding of distributed data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Delta Lake, or Flink

  • Experience with real time data processing and event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Azure Event Hubs)

  • Knowledge of DevOps and cloud infrastructure tooling (e.g., Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently in a remote first, multicultural environment
